Balance problem and vertigo are the principal symptoms of vestibular disorders. Dr Luke Chen has subspecialty clinical and academic interests in the diagnosis and treatment of vestibular disorders. With access to the latest diagnostic technology, such as video-oculography/ video head impulse test and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, the aim is to provide timely and tailored comprehensive assessment for the dizzy patient.

Vestibular disorders cause the symptoms of vertigo, an illusion of motion, and imbalance. Vestibular disorders may be due to an inner ear or connecting brain pathway problem. The diagnosis and treatment of vestibular disorders depend on identifying the symptoms, examination findings during an episode of vertigo, and appropriate vestibular function tests.
